There can be a lot of opinions to listen to when planning a family reunion. Different generations and different tastes and preferences can all make it difficult to cater to everyone. There might be a bit of squabbling, but it is possible to listen to everyone’s needs. The most important thing to do is to sort out the must-haves for your accommodation and other elements of your trip. For example, does anyone need an accessible bedroom, or do you need baby supplies such as a crib and a highchair? You can then start to think about the things that would be nice to have, like a pool.
Plan Plenty of Fun
Some people like to plan a trip as much as possible. Others may want to see where the wind takes them. For a big family reunion, doing at least some planning is usually smart. For example, you might want to book some restaurants if you want to eat out during your reunion. Booking some fun activities might also be a good idea. You can also make your own fun, especially if you choose self-catered accommodation where you are free to do what you want.
A family reunion is a good way to bring everyone together if you haven’t seen them for a while. If you want to plan one, try not to leave it until the last minute to allow time to coordinate with everyone.
